6/19/06 - boyfriend conglomerate!!!

June 19, 2006 - Monday

(OCT. '07 comment: Funny thing to note: several hours after writing the blog entry below, I met the man I'm with to this day! Tee hee.)

1:31 AM - boyfriend conglomerate!!!

My boy....friends are the best. Today I was thinking that it'd be nice 'n' easy to have one main boyfriend who could perform all the duties that needed to be done: taking care of me, making me feel better about the alleged burglary, driving me around, and sleeping over so that the robbers would feel threatened and decide not to attack me two nights in a row. But instead I found something just as good: a group of several boy friends who were able to perform these duties and make me very happy as well.

Chris H. called me as soon as he got my voicemail and encouraged me to park my car at another locale so that the Alleged Key Thieves wouldn't be able to take my fancy (ahem) Nissan for a spin. Richard sent me two myspace messages regarding the theft and then talked to me on the real-life telephone for awhile as we tried to be Crime Scene Investigators (CSI-TM) and guess who the culprit(s) was (were). Then Jeremy "Cream of" Wheatley called back the second he got my voicemail and said he'd be over as soon as band practice was over so that he could crash on my couch in order to play the role of Harsh Scary Man Wielding Bat in case the robbers return tonight before I get my locks changed tomorrow.

I have some great, lovely boy friends.
I would rather have these three boys than one main one. That statement is true.

Love,
Janet

When you said Scary Man Weilding Bat, I saw the kind of bat that flies and eats bugs. If you had a Scary Man Weilding Bat in that sense, that would be extremely fucking scary. I hereby offer to be that man.

oh lord-a mercy, janet. glad nothing worse happened.

i am, however, left wondering who would be most scary with a bat (flying or otherwise): jeremy, richard, or chris. let's analyze a bit, shall we? chris is manly and greek. but not actually "bearing gifts" might make him less intimidating. richard is sort of crazy around the eyes, which argues in his favor, but being indy-rocker-esque detracts a bit as one could easily mistake him for a hippie pacifist. jeremy has the country-boy thing going for him, which makes him scary in a "get off mah propertah" kind of way. and he's tall. so, in conclusion, i say good decision making on giving jeremy the bat.

if i ever meet the theivers i will sue them. does that help?

Burglary? What madness is this!

Though I'm sure it serves you right for stealing my heart oh so many years ago.
