| 12:55 AM - My dating plans... So I'd like your opinion. I say that I like to date around and am not looking for a boyfriend, but that's a total lie.
I have narrowed down the field to two choices, and I need you, my loyal readers (yep, all 7 of you!), to reach a verdict.
The contestants*:
1. Someone who introduced himself to me tonight as "Trippy." A friendly fellow with a surprisingly gem-filled slew of comments even though we didn't talk much. As I tried to listen to the Great Lake Swimmers, he talked to me at full-volume. I was the one whose audacity was a little out of control there: I mean, I was at a show in Athens and was actively avoiding conversation? He flirtatiously accused me of melting for the lead singer and falling in love with him. I denied the accusation as one would drunkenly swat away a gnat. Trippy kept talking to me after he had assured me he'd be quiet and let me listen. A nice guy overall, but maybe you can agree with me when I say that his comment about the GLS lead singer made me giggle: "His voice is very captivating, and I'm not even gay, you know?"
2. The myspace message I got tonight will speak for itself. You'll know why I'm tempted by this fellow. We have a lot in common in terms of relationship preferences: I mean, how crazy is it that I, too, like to know someone well before we "start it up"?

*Disclaimer: I have made a concerted effort to be less judgmental of people, and this blog entry is less than polite and nonjudgmental. But how can you not mention "meeting" a boy named Trippy and a "27 year man" named Oladipupo in the same hour?!
