 | 1:43 AM - GO TO SLEEP! I must awake in a few hours' time for my flight to New York. Some morning ickyness has led me to mess up my sleep schedule for the second day in a row--I slept a fitful sleep until noon, trying to make up for the sleep I missed out on during birthday celebrations and trying to fend off--guess what?--a Migraine.
Now I am awake, tired but wired, slowly remembering what I want to pack and what I plan on borrowing from Brookie at the last minute.
On Saturday I'll get to see lots of friends I've not visited with in such a long time. A pregnant Eliza! A hug from Lia "Lil' Sister" for the first time in years! Cuddle time with Brookie! Seeing Perry & Liz twice in 2006 already! Homigren! And a whole day of fun with Dalbaby awaits! I could go on and on, but that would mean I'd not be packing...or sleeping.
Moody music isn't helping today's melodrama. As lucky as I am, it'd be nice if I didn't linger so much on wishing for the things I can't change. (And that's not to say I'm not pleased with what I've got--I've just always got my eyes set on some point right beyond the horizon.) We'll see.
