| 2:44 AM - I emerge victorious! As much as it frustrates me to deal with delays, bad service, and general incompetence when I've paid lots of (or little, for that matter) money for something, I must admit that I feel vindicated and proud of myself when I speak out and get my due reward.
Case in point: I bought these really great photo stamps for Denise's birthday. Each stamp features a photo of Denise, Daniel, and me on New Year's dancing on the couch-thang at 283. Lovely. I ordered the stamps the last week of January and they were to arrive the day after her birthday--that means I should have gotten them on February 1st. No, folks, I didn't get them by that date. And on February 13th, I wrote an angry email. On February 14th, they were delivered to my door.
And on February 15th, I got a response to my angry email. Vindication at last!! For some reason, I'm unable to cut and paste objects & text into this blog window, so I'll just make a long story short. They're fully reimbursing me for my order (about a $20 value) and giving me free shipping ($2.99) on my next order. They're looking forward to my next order with them and they are soooo very sorry about the problem.
Yay for being the brazen lady who speaks her mind! I can just feel how proud my mom and dad are. Reminds me of the time my mom & I double-teamed Delta and got them to give me back over $10,000 SkyMiles. Ha!
