3/2/06 - 2: too much, too little, too late + in a singular mood

March 2, 2006 - Thursday

3:37 PM - too much, too little, too late

What is that a quotation from? Some song where a female voice repeats the phrase.

As a constant-music-listener who is particularly fond of becoming familiar with lyrics, I quite often suffer from a condition in which I have a snippet of a song in my head and can't remember what song it's from. Frustrating, but like a little eventually-solvable puzzle for me to ponder all day!

Ponder THAT!

Class is in one hour and 25 minutes and I've yet to pick up the new textbook. I need to finish getting ready and head on out. Slept 12 hours last night to make up for my restless sleeping habits in NYC. Watching an episode of Grey's Anatomy on my new Season 1 DVD set (only $20!) this morning didn't help the motivation to get out and get my homework done too quickly. I did see one of my favorite episodes ever, though...the one whose focus is intimacy? Anyone seen it? #4 of season 1? Lord god I love that I actually love a current television show.

Okay, I'm going. Fine, fine, fine.
Gonna learn how to use applied behavior analysis for teachers, edition 6.

12:12 AM - in a singular mood

There's too much happening at once, but at the same time things seem to be unbearably slow. My five days in New York were wonderful for myriad reasons, but my inability to put those reasons into words has been driving me crazy for the better part of the last few days. Seeing NYU's ever-shifting, ever-growing "campus" was eerie in that I felt as if I remembered it from some vivid dream instead of from my own life.

Spending time with friends was so comfortable and comforting that I forgot I would have to say goodbye again.
