| 12:46 AM - impending cranial implosion Current mood: sore Tried to act like a trooper and go out tonight in spite of the migraine that set in around 5 PM. Had a lovely time with Nancy, had a potentially awkward run-in that ended up being fine, had a nice catch-up chat with a friend I've not seen in a long while.
The Manhattan's music wasn't loud, but the crowd was. Everything is magnified...even the scent of smoke on people's coats after they came back to the warmth of the bar seemed to shoot straight up my nostrils into my brain, squeezing it and causing it pain. Drugs had little to no effect.
So here I am, home at a quarter 'til 1, with a throbbing head full of hope that I'll be able to sleep soon so that I can wake up early and be a chipper employee on the ropes course tomorrow morning.
Luckily, there's always tomorrow, and maybe as I sleep I'll convince myself that I'm not aching.
