| 12:52 PM - o! what a beautiful morrrr-ning Well, perhaps it's not beautiful in a sunshiney day way, but it is warmish and comfortable and lovely all the same.
Started my day off with breakfast at Big City Bread; drank coffee & OJ as I (finally!) started to update my address book. My goal for the next few months? Not have to email someone for his/her address each time I write a letter.
Of late, more & more people have been taken by surprise when they find out I am an old-fashioned letter writer. Why aren't there more of us? I fall out of the habit once in a while, but I usually get myself back into it in no time. It's true that I don't keep a diary anymore (and that, when I do, I end up looking back on its pages and feeling a bit embarrassed yet entertained), and my letters end up being a good way to explain what's been going on, even if all the anecdotes get mailed off to people and places around the world. In my dreamiest of dreams, I'd like to think that one day I can accumulate all the letters that have made up my correspondences with friends and family and somehow piece together my life that way. That is, if I end up getting some terrible disease a la Alzheimer's and can't remember what has happened.
As it is, my memory remains razor-sharp. Maybe it's day-old Daisy Gilette been used once sharp, but it gets the job done.
